This is a great post what makes it even better is that most of these you can get from Ninite which will download and install the latest versions of all available software ALL AT ONCE without you having to worry about adware or the annoying clutter (toolbars, changing your default search engine) that sometimes comes with their individual installers. So, yeah. Have at it folks.

I think Rogue One is a better Star Wars film than The Last Jedi. More serious, more real.

Controversies aside, I think two of the biggest problems The Last Jedi had was the lack of a consistent tone, going from goofy to ultra serious in a matter of seconds, and how it felt like it had multiple endings during the final 30 minutes or so.
It’s still better than the first two prequel movies, but in the case of Revenge of the Sith, at least that one felt consistent from start to finish.
Also, why the fuck do they keep shrinking the main opposing forces? The Resistance was doing to a single, almost useless capital ship, and the first order seemed unable to muster more than a dozen Star Destroyers even with their leader’s flagship engaged in combat.
Because if the prequels did something right, was showing just how massive both the Republic and the Trade Federation were, culminating in the massive space battle at the start of Revenge, as really, we’re talking about a GALAXY WIDE WAR, so why the fuck do they show it like a small naval skirmish comparable to those fought between the Koreas?
And yeah, the so called Republic Fleet was wiped out at the start of TFA, but come on, as early as A New Hope it was shown that the predecessor of the Republic, the Galactic Empire, always kept capital ships everywhere, so why wouldn’t the Republic do the same? As that way you can have more capital ships joining the good guys.
A sense of scale, that is the other problem of that movie.
Also, why didn’t the First Order have one of their star destroyers jump into light speed somewhere else, AND then make it jump back in FRONT of the rebel fleet? They had no issues with fuel, and one ship of that type seemed more than capable of taking down the main rebel ship, specially considering how her squadron of small combat space ships was wiped out.
Seriously, that whole space chase sequence was just stupid.
Wouldn’t jumping in front of the resistance fleet require the star destroyer to pass physically through the fleet destroying the star destroyer AND the resistance’s fleet.
You sound like a First Order admiral.
Just have the damn thing turn slightly to either side, jump to the closets panet/start system, turn around some 179° as to align the ship in front of the path of the rebel fleet, make the other jump, and viola, your Star Destroyer is right in front of the useless Rebel capital ship, ready to finish it off.
